ALL DOGS IN THE TOWN OF BERKLEY MUST BE LICENSED ANNUALLY
Licenses are due by February 1st of each year and are availabe through the Town Clerk
Current Dog License Fees
$20.00 per dog
$10.00 for spayed or neutered dogs
Current Kennel License Fees
4 dogs or less -- $50.00
*9 dogs or less -- $75.00
*10 dogs or more -- $100.00
*Note: Kennels over 4 dogs require Animal Control Officer and Board of Health approval prior to issue
Late Fees
April 1st to April 30th -- $5.00
May 1st to May 31st -- $10.00
June 1st and after -- $25.00
For your convenience, dogs may be licensed by mail
Send the following items to the Town Clerk, 1 North Main Street, Berkley, MA 02779
(1) Copy of Current Rabies Certificate (current means in effect the day of licensing)
(2) License and any late fees (checks should be made out to Town of Berkley)
(3) Self-addressed stamped envelope
(4) Copy of neutering or spaying certificate if rabies certificate does not indicate this
